Your voice
How DOMS learns your rhythm, where it learns it from, and what it never learns from.
Voice is two things. Your preferences are choices you make in the Brain: Warmth (reserved or warm), Directness (gentle or direct), Energy (calm or lively), Length (brief or room to explain), Emoji (none or light use), Punctuation (understated or expressive). Your baseline is numbers measured from what you actually write: how often you ask a question, how long your messages run.
- Measured
- From at least twenty eligible text replies from your connected account. Replies sent through DOMS, imports, matches to prepared DOMS wording and protected conversations do not count toward this baseline.
- Seeded
- From replies you pasted or imported from your Instagram export before a measured baseline is available. This also needs at least twenty usable examples, and only the numbers are stored, never the text.
- Not set
- DOMS writes plainly until it has something of yours to measure.
Beyond the numbers
Per Offer, How you talk about this Offer holds words to avoid, writing guidance and voice notes. Teach saves a correction from an eligible reply. Eligible guidance can be supplied to the writer; saving it does not confirm use. Check Why this reply? to see what reached the writer.
