The setup checklist

The eight steps on the setup screen, what each one unlocks, and which one is optional.

After you create your account you land on Set up your inbox. It reads your real state every time you open it, so a step is done only when the thing it asks for actually exists. An Up next card shows the step to do now; Every step below it lists all eight with an honest chip: Not yet, Started, Needs attention, Could not check, Changed, Not needed, or Not proven live.

  1. Your business

    Your business name, your own name (replies speak as your assistant or as you, your choice in Settings under How DOMS introduces itself, never as the company), your timezone, and optionally your mobile and your website. Follow ups prefer your daytime, so the timezone matters.

  2. Connect Instagram

    Read What connecting allows, and what it never does, then connect on Instagram's own screen. Check again re reads the state when you come back. See Connect Instagram.

  3. About your coaching

    Four short answers, each saved on its own: what you do, who you help, what kind of coaching it is, and the objection you hear most. Edit them later in Brain, Business knowledge.

  4. Your offer

    Build your offer in the Studio, or Build your offer from your website with every line a suggestion and the price yours to type. Publish a version, then make it live. See Your first Offer.

  5. Your links

    One real address per link your Offer names. A reply that includes a link will not send until its address is set here.

  6. What your AI knows

    What you call your program, what you call your clients, how you sign off, and anything else in your own words. Prices belong in the Offer and are refused here on purpose.

  7. Sound like you

    Optional. Choose how your replies should sound. Paste some of your own replies, or Import my messages from your Instagram export, so DOMS can measure how you write. Only the numbers are kept, never the text.

  8. How DOMS replies

    See the latest setup check, Hear it in your voice (a sample draft; nothing is sent), then choose Review drafts first or Turn on automatic replies, and Open Chats.
