The words DOMS uses
Short definitions of the terms you will see on every page.
- Offer
- The thing you sell, written down once. Every money reply is bound to one sealed version of it.
- Version
- A sealed snapshot of an Offer. Publishing makes one; it never changes afterwards.
- Live
- The version DOMS uses in your DMs, made live as a separate step from publishing. A paused Offer's live version reads Live, paused and a closed one Live, closed; a saved version that is not live reads Not live yet or Not live.
- Default Offer
- The one DOMS reaches for when two or more are live and nothing else decides.
- Draft
- A reply waiting for your decision, or an Offer edit not yet published.
- Receipt
- What DOMS read, what reached it, what was cut and which Offer backed any number, under every AI reply as Why this reply?
- Who they are
- Prospect, past member, friend or family, fan, peer, spam, needs care, flirting. Your label wins.
- Reply handling
- Whether the AI handles a person, or you do after taking them over.
- Whose move
- Your move, their move, or a draft waiting. Built from what was actually delivered.
- Hold
- A reply that waited, with a named reason.
- Resource
- A guide, link or file DOMS sends when someone asks for it by keyword.
- Rule
- When a resource may be sent: keyword, source, Offer version, account, dates. Also, in the Brain, an always or never line on a trigger.
- Offer CTA mark
- Tying a Story or a post to an exact Offer version as its call to action.
- Nudge
- A follow up, drafted after a prospect goes quiet.
- Care hold
- Selling switched off for a conversation because distress was read.
