Versions and releases

Every publish saves a new version that never changes. Make live is a separate step, and Retire offer is another: a retired version is no longer live and cannot be made live again, so you edit it as a new version instead. Editing never changes a saved version; it starts a new draft. That is why a price can never drift under you.

Which Offer a reply is about

1. Your pick for this person, set in Chats or on their page.
2. The one they named, when their words match exactly one live Offer's name or an also called name.
3. Your default, when two or more are live. Make this the default on the Offer.
4. Your only live Offer.
5. Otherwise no Offer: DOMS asks and answers, and never talks money.

The receipt under every reply says which one it was and why, in those words.

Availability and closing dates

Pause Offer takes it out of selling without retiring anything; Resume Offer brings it back. A Closing date ends selling for that Offer after the day you set, in your timezone. A discount is its own record with its own dates and is never invented on the spot.

The Offer page

Offers lists every Offer in the same words as its page (Live, Live, paused, Live, closed, Not live yet, Not live or No longer live), which version is live, and its readiness (ready for chat sales, ready for call booking, or not ready).
